Walk ons?

Looking for input on having walk ons every other Sunday instead of every sunday? What are your thoughts. I am thinking maybe more players will show up this way. We may try the first and third Sunday of each month. Thoughts?

I think that sounds like an idea that could work. Wouldn't be able to beat up on you as much on/off the field, who knows, maybe your scared off me.

i dont like that idea. There are people who have to work everyother weekend and if you do that, you will alienate them. Also, you most likely will see less people out there because of confusion on what Sunday it is. I think you should keep it every Sunday unless the reason is so you can book more groups for Sundays. If that is the case, definately pull the walkons...business first, and nothing is better then a booked group (if they all show)

Well there are a few reasons. First sitting out there for hours with nobody here really stinks. Secondly sitting out there with only TOAG sux even worse!:) I hate calling off walk ons at noon cause no one is here. I have more to do than sit and wait....hoping that people show.

This weekend....anyone interested or not?

actually.... you know that it wouldn't be the same without me. and... i'll be near by sudnay out at that game farm doing some sporting clays... i'll probably stop out though. you just say it sucks sitting there with me, becuse you know I can take ya.

I am with you on the sitting out there with no one there, but, why not say, if there is not enough people there by 11, since we start at 10, the day is cancelled and you can do your better things. Or if you know for sure some are coming but not till noon, pospone until til noon and do your crap before....good idea?

Have to say that's not the best idea there trigger, for one, if marks out there waiting, so am I, that means we both spent gas and money to get there and be there, and no one shows. Two, the kinda stuff we could be doing instead of sitting out there is the kind of thing that lasts all day, not just the morning. And finally, people saying they are coming out isnt' the same as them actually coming out.

I'll be there but not until noon. Now I'm feeling all guilty. I don't want to show up late and have people think that I'm a no show because I'm not there earlier. I don't have a choice in this.:rolleyes:

OK so now I feel real guilty. I went out and you guys were playing and I went back to my truck to get my gear and there was a frantic phone mesage on my cell phone from my mom and sister, (not a good combination to begin with) that needed to be delt with so.....

Yes I didn't even say HI and I left. My lose. But I am sorry for not staying.
