Hey all,
I am thinking about playing in the Polar Bear 3 man Youn Gunz Division this Summer.
I only shoot a piranha because of cost, and as of now, I need to upgrade.
Can you give me a suggestion of a good Marker to get.
Price doesnt matter.
I am not one of these kids who comes on here and says "omg i need a dm6 bcuz theyre like 1,400 dollars, so theyre good, and im gonna go play and shoot 20 bps at you"
I have been playing paintball for 5-6 years, I know pretty much all of the markers out there, just looking for good reccommendations, by people who have experience with Tournament Markers
Thanks!
well i would suggest just an angel IR3 or 03/04 speed because they are easy to maintain and they are really cheep right now and you can always put a pred board in there if you wanted or you could buy one with it already installed

Protos are a good gun for the money. PM5's are pretty simple to use and maintain. I have one as well as a Timmy. Both guns are great but for the money I'd have to chose the proto.

if money isnt an issue i would get either a evil minion casue those are GREAT prolly better then DM6 IMO
or angel speed 06

ok
a good gun for tournoments is accurancy now because most tournoments are only letting you shoot 15 or 16 bps anyway so find a gun YOU like and read some reviews do some research at buy it

tournys have no limit if you are only using semi auto mode. They are limited to 15 if using ramping. personally i think ramping is for players who cant play worth a darn anyway. If you need a gun to help you shoot faster, you need to practice more, PERIOD.
Sorry about my little rant...back to the issue at hand. WGP Karnivors are very accurate and fast, but they do require a little bit more maintainence. Angels are pretty much maintainece free. I send mine in once a year for a complete strip down and replacement of seals and o-rings. I never have problems.
FYI to all ---- the Evil minion is the Proto PM6. Both are made by Dye, only difference is that Evil has their name on one. Same board, pretty close in looks, different barrel. If you are thinking about getting the minion, get the PM6, at least you get a pretty good barrel with that and they cost the same.
