Well, as you can see we have undergone a bit of a transformation here at the Splatter Chatter.... I hope you like the changes. The new forums have a lot more power and versatility behind them, and am I really excited to try some of them out. Most of it is back end related, so you will not be able to see it, however, the are some major changes on the front end of things as well...
We have changed over to a different rating system - previously it was based on number of posts. Now the forum runs on something called reputation. All users have a say in how you are perceived now, it's not just how often you can be at the keyboard banging away.
There is a new calendar system set up for reservations and other events at Bubba's.
We've revamped the search engine, and hope to add a spell check feature to the posting areas.
Unfortunately we also needed to add a little extra security too... guests can no longer post on the forum, to register, you must provide a working e-mail address.
I am still working on the overall look of the page... hopefully I can finish that before the next season, but no promises...
Oh well, I am confident that this is the last incarnation of Splatter Chatter so buckle up, and lets see what this baby can do!
